Fireworks

Enjoy vibrant firework displays all across Atlanta metropolitan area each 4th of July. In 2022, the Southeast’s largest fireworks show returns to Centennial Olympic Park with Look Up Atlanta on Sunday, July 3. Also, see America’s Got Talent runner-up Angelica Hale and Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra as part of the showcase. And don’t forget we get to celebrate with America’s Pastime by rooting on the Braves at Truist Park.

Celebrate this Independence Day early on The Roof at Ponce City Market! Happening Saturday, July 2nd, The Roof will be hosting their annual Fourth of July party from 11AM-12AM, along with an array of entertainment. Starting with balloon artists and a magician from 12-4PM, followed by music from DJ OP Diggy at 8PM and a spectacular private firework show at 9:30. Classic carnival style bites and a special cocktail menu, sponsored by Beam Suntory, will also be available for purchase. Tickets include unlimited access to boardwalk games, mini golf, a Heege Tower and a three-story slide. The Roof will be 21+ after 5PM. All food and beverage will be sold separately.

Theme Park Fun at Six Flags Over Georgia

Celebrate the Fourth of July with a day of fun and thrills! Enjoy heart-pounding rides like Dare Devil Dive and The Great American Scream Machine. Or make a splash in Hurricane Harbor, our waterpark included with your admission. Once the sun goes down, the sky lights up nightly with the best fireworks show in Atlanta!

Second Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest

With the Fourth of July comes celebrations with friends and family, lively cookouts, fireworks and, of course, hot dog eating competitions. If you love hot dogs check this out! Grab a front row seat to a nail biting event are invited to Red’s Beer Garden on Sunday, July 3rd at 2 p.m. for their second annual hot dog eating competition. The ultimate, local hot dog extravaganza will have Caroline King of the Bitch Beer Podcast as the Master of Ceremonies. There will also be plenty of craft brews from Three Taverns Brewery on hand for revelers and participants to sip on before, during and after the mad dash of 10 competitors consuming as many Fripper’s hot dogs as possible in 10 minutes.
